So I woke up at seven. Got dressed (for sucess!) and then got picked up by Jasmine and made our way over to James Polk Middle School for the speech contest.

I was in Division Three! Which was the free speech with aid of notes division :3 Half of me wanted to make finals and then the other half didn't... But anyways--I was the first one to go, and after I went I talked to Jenny, then made my way up to the first floor and chilled until the results were up.

I made finals :3;

And Jenny did too. And ontop of that two other students from RHS made finals too :3

Then it was lunch time. And I ate sushi. *A* nummy yummy sushi. Then it was time to preform for finals again.

D| I was the first to go for division three. Though we had to wait because the first and second divisions went right before us. The first two divisions were poems. Then the last three divisions were free speech. Two of which were high school divisions and the last one was college level.

I liked two of the fourth divisions speeches. One was about this music artist, the second was about dancing and dance clubs, and the third was about her stay in Japan.

Then the college level... Oh I loved the speech about this one man's experience with Natto. :3 And then one girl (who was short and cute >w<~) did a speech over voice acting and... anime? :O I don't know she ran out of time and cut hers short.

Then after that there were Japanese students who gave exhibition speeches. Two were really morbid. One was about drugs and another was about a new fluenza in Japan that has killed 66 people. :O;;

Then they gave awards. I got fifth out of fifth in my division. But ya' know what. I'm glad I didn't get higher. Everyone else had their speech down by heart and rarely looked at their speech. I guess my nerves were too shot. And I started getting a migrane. (That and I always suck on the second go around of the speech.)

And it was fun to make it to finals! Fuck yes. I get a medal--which is totally better then a stupid trophy any day :3

I got a calandar, free t.shirt, will recieve a medal when they are ready, and $10 gift certificate to Kazy's.

 

8| Is it sad to say that I want to shoot a few members in the Japanese club?

DD: Seriuosly, I don't do this stuff for my health. I personally think it's cool on the Japanese culture aspect, becuase there are YAKUZA living in Japan. But no, all they care about is social hour.

>.>" bitches. And I was really looking forward to the theme's and symbolism in Tekkon Kinkreet. Like--you have no idea how happy I was (not only that I could stop bringing the disk to school) but to maybe, possibly share something neat with them on a higher level. But whatever...

The quicker we get our fundraising over and done with, the quicker I can "rawr" at them all. <+<"

(And for one, I hate being interrupted, because I'm the type to let the interrupter say what they want to say, and then it usually leaves me out of the conversation because people forget that I was talking.

I also dispise talking over someone.)

Though, if something like this were to ever happen again I guess I would probably excuse myself from the meeting to calm down. Because fuck. I have one hell of a temper. >.>"

Anyways, on a lighter note.

秋祭りの思い出

私はヒスパニックけいのいえに生まれました。だから英語とスペイン語のりょうほうをつかいます。しかし、なぜかわたしはむかしからスペイン語にはあまりきょうみがもてませんでした。ある日、ゆじんに日本語のおんがくのCDをもらったことがきっっかけで、日本語につよくひかれ、日本語でかかれた本屋アニメーションをりかいできるようになりたいとおもうようになりました。そしてそれは、スペイン語を使えるようになるよりもっとすてきなことだとかんじています。

ことしこうこう三年生になって。日本語クラブの会長をやっています。私たちの学校の日本語クラブはにほんじんかの秋祭りにブースをもちました。そこで、ふうせんダーツのゲームとポップコーンをうりました。

ふうせんダーツでは、父がボードよういしてくれて、私たちが、ペイントしました。めいのばん、ふうせん２００こにカラーの水を入れて、ふくらませました。みんあでやるさぎょうはとてもたのしかったです。

祭りの日、だれよりも　く行って、セットアップしました。思ったよりたくさんの人がきてくれて、うれしかったです。ダーツをなげるたびに、かんせいをあげて、みんなでおおさわぎしました。しっぱいしたことは、水のホースにダーツであなをあけてしまったことです。みなさんいめわくをかけて、すみませんでした。

とにかく、このイベントはだいせいこうでした。みんなでいっしょにできたこと、それから日本のお祭りにさんかできたことは、とてもよい思い出になるでしょ。日本の文化についても、勉強しました。

大学でも日本語の勉強します。そして、そつぎょうしたら、JETプログラムで日本にいって、英語の先生をしたいとおもっています。

band has consumed my life.
