But so yes! I am back from my trip to Austin 8D; lol, yeah. I went to Austin aaand I can't remember if I mentioned something about that in a previous post. 83;

Putting a pause on the one a day meme ;3b



So I leave school kinda earlier than usual (class got dismissed early /o/!) and head home. Eat my bowl of cereal and we're on the road by 10ish.

I drive half the way there. (Basically meaning: once my mom got us out of Dallas I drove the rest of the way and got us out of the highway 8|b) We stop at a McDonalds for lunch and I see so many high school kids. By that time it's like 1ish 8|

After lunch we're on the road again. Austin traffic sucks major balls. I'm used to five/six o'clock traffic. Living in Dallas I'm used to people having sucky driving skills. But people who live in Austin? They can't drive worth jack shit. And have really awkward traffic jams at 2.

We finally get out of the traffic mayhem around 3 something. And then we decide to turn around because getting to San Marcos and then turning around to head to the concert sight was just ridiculous sounding. So we go alllll the way back to downtown Austin, only to find out we were at the wrong Marriott. So we go back through downtown Austin once more only to find out that the Marriott we were at wasn't the right one either.

Total Marriott's visited: 2. We then go to bumfuck Egypt and finally find the correct Marriott.

Though by that time it was already four. So we only have a couple of minutes to relax at the hotel before we head out to find something to eat for dinner before the concert. We end up eating at this really nice seafood restaurant. (And really expensive too, so my mom made me order something from the appetizer menu. And I really wanted that damn lobster too 8<)

After dinner we drive up to the concert site. Thankfully the Answer is playing. So we weren't missing much. Though the hike there wasn't very eventful. One of my aunts got semi-sickish (I guess it happens frequently? She doesn't have a great track with health) so we stayed near the bathroom for a while.

It took forever to get a concert t-shirt though. 8\ At first the one I wanted wasn't in my size, and so we went downstairs (thankfully I talked my mom into going with me to get one before the concert, because the merchandise people weren't there much after the concert ended) but I finally got one! :3

And then we headed to our seats and waited. 8|; And waited, and waited. Then it began!

After that we trekked around Congress street to find Hey Cupcakes but they were closed and would open the in the morning at ten. So we just went back to the hotel and passed out~

I woke up today at around 8ish? |Da Get dressed with my new spiffy AC/DC t-shirt and then we check out and go to Waffle House. Except that failed, and then we went to the Magnolia Cafe for breakfast :3 I had some sausages and a toasted garlic bagel~ (I also stole some of my mom's avocado from her omelet~)

THEN WE GOT SOME CUPPYCAKES. AND THEY WERE ORGASMIC. I ate my Vanilla Dream there. (And then had the Red-Velvet on the road~) :3 it was sooo goood~

Then we went to San Marcos and shopped~ :3 I automatically headed over to the Hot Topic outlet they had and made out good~

I got three shirts, two wristbands. And from Dickies I got a laptop bag for Gilbo, a "makeup bag" (I'm using it as a pencil bag~), and a pair of black jeans (because my actual black slacks are fail)
